  1. Provide specialized physical therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
  2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their specific needs and goals.
  3. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
  4. Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on treatment plans and progress.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
  9. Stay current on industry developments and advancements in pediatric physical therapy.
  10. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the Outpatient Pediatrics team.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  13. Act as an ambassador for Tenet Healthcare, representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.
  14. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
  15. Meet productivity targets and other performance standards set by the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: Candidates For This Role Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • State Licensure: A Valid State License Is Required To Practice As A Physical Therapist In The Outpatient Pediatric Setting. Candidates Should Have A Current And Active License In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Pediatric Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In An Outpatient Setting Is Preferred. This Experience Should Include Evaluating And Treating A Variety Of Pediatric Conditions And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Special Certifications: Tenet Healthcare May Require Additional Certifications For This Job, Such As Certified Pediatric Specialist (Pcs) Or Neuro-Developmental Treatment (Ndt) Certification. These Certifications Demonstrate Expertise In Treating Pediatric Patients And May Be Preferred Or Required For The Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Physical Therapist Working In An Outpatient Pediatric Setting, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Young Patients And Their Parents Or Guardians Is Essential. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Build Relationships With Patients And Their Families.
