  1. Perform ultrasound imaging procedures on pediatric patients using advanced technical skills and equipment.
  2. Assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in pediatric patients by accurately capturing and interpreting images.
  3. Understand and follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of pediatric patients during procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate important information to healthcare team members.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
  6. Continuously monitor and assess image quality to ensure accurate and high-quality results.
  7. Remain up-to-date on new ultrasound technology and techniques to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  8. Educate and communicate with pediatric patients and their families about the ultrasound procedure and address any concerns or questions.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
  10. Work collaboratively with other team members to provide a positive and compassionate healthcare experience for pediatric patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Is Required For This Position. A Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred.

  • Ardms Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) In Pediatric Sonography.

  • Experience In Pediatric Sonography: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Pediatric Ultrasound Procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Anatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Anatomy And Physiology Is Essential For Accurately Interpreting And Performing Ultrasound Exams On Pediatric Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Young Patients And Their Parents Or Caregivers. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Building Trust And Ensuring A Positive Patient Experience.
