  1. Assist in providing exceptional care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
  2. Perform a variety of patient care tasks, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and administering medications.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  5. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  6. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  8. Assist with transporting patients to various areas within the hospital.
  9. Be knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot medical equipment.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge and skills.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Handle confidential information with discretion.
  13. Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  15. Report any changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Patient Care Technician - Telemetry Role At Tenet Healthcare Requires A Valid Certification As A Patient Care Technician Or A Similar Healthcare Certification Such As Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma).

  • Experience: Candidates Must Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Telemetry Or Critical Care Unit.

  • Knowledge Of Telemetry Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Telemetry Equipment, Including Ekg Machines, Cardiac Monitors, And Other Monitoring Devices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role As Patient Care Technicians Work Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide Quality Care.
