  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  3. Monitor and assess patient vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  4. Assist with basic patient care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following all infection control protocols.
  6. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Valid Patient Care Technician Certification Is Required, Demonstrating Knowledge And Proficiency In Basic Patient Care Techniques And Procedures.

  • Telemetry Experience: Previous Experience Working With Telemetry Equipment And Monitoring Cardiac Patients Is Preferred, As This Role Will Require The Use Of Advanced Medical Equipment And The Ability To Interpret And Respond To Telemetry Data.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: All Patient Care Technicians At Tenet Healthcare Must Possess A Valid Bls Certification, Demonstrating The Ability To Respond To Medical Emergencies And Provide Basic Life Support As Needed.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Position Requires Frequent Interaction With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential To Ensure Effective And Efficient Patient Care.

  • Attention To Detail: Patient Care Technicians Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Accurately Record And Report Patient Information. This Includes Monitoring Vital Signs, Input And Output Measurements, And Any Changes In A Patient's Condition.
