Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the emergency room setting.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with patient hygiene.
Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate medical staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns.
Assist with patient transfers and transportation within the hospital.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Patient Care Technician In The Emergency Room At Tenet Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Basic Educational Skills.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: A Cna Certification Is A Valuable Qualification For A Patient Care Technician In The Emergency Room. It Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Skills In Providing Basic Patient Care And Assistance To Nurses And Doctors.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Emergency Situations Can Arise At Any Time In A Hospital Setting, And Having A Bls Certification Is Crucial For A Patient Care Technician In The Emergency Room. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques Such As Cpr.

It Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Healthcare Environment And Has Some Understanding Of Patient Care Procedures.
