- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the patient experience and overall satisfaction.
- Train and educate staff on patient advocacy best practices and policies.
- Monitor and track patient feedback and complaints, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and advocate interventions.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and policies to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to patients.
- Participate in meetings and committees to represent the patient advocate department and provide insights and suggestions for improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Patient Advocacy Or A Related Role Within A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advocate On Behalf Of Patients And Their Families.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, Including Hipaa And Patient Rights.
Demonstrated Leadership Experience, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Patient Advocates.
