  1. Assist with orthopedic procedures: The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for providing support and assistance during orthopedic procedures, such as setting up equipment and preparing patients for surgery.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety: The Orthopedic Technician will be responsible for ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe throughout their treatment, including monitoring vital signs and addressing any concerns or complications.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Experience: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Orthopedic Technology Or A Related Field, Along With Prior Experience Working As An Orthopedic Technician In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Orthopedic Knowledge: Thorough Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Knowledge Of Orthopedic Conditions, Injuries, And Treatment Procedures.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Using And Maintaining Orthopedic Equipment, Such As Splints, Casts, And Traction Devices, As Well As The Ability To Assist With Orthopedic Surgeries And Procedures.

  • Communication And Patient Care: Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment. Must Also Have A Strong Commitment To Providing Compassionate And Quality Patient Care.

  • Certification: Possession Of A Valid Orthopedic Technologist Certified (Otc) Credential Or The Willingness To Obtain It Within A Certain Time Frame. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Competence In The Field Of Orthopedic Technology.
