Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Adhere to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Stay updated on current healthcare practices, guidelines, and regulations through continuing education and professional development.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, their families, and colleagues.
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment within the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner (Np) License: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid And Current Np License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. This Ensures That They Are Qualified To Provide Patient Care And Can Legally Practice Within The State's Guidelines.
Master's Degree In Nursing: A Master's Degree In Nursing Is A Minimum Requirement For A Nurse Practitioner Position At Tenet Healthcare. This Degree Provides The Necessary Education And Training To Diagnose And Treat Patients Independently.
Board Certification In A Relevant Specialty: Tenet Healthcare Prefers Candidates Who Are Board Certified In A Relevant Specialty Such As Family Practice, Pediatrics, Or Adult-Gerontology. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In A Specific Area Of Patient Care.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Np: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Np. This Ensures That They Have A Strong Foundation In Patient Care And Are Comfortable Working Independently.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Tenet Healthcare Values Candidates Who Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills. As An Np, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Teams, So The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Relationships Is Essential.
