- Oversee and manage daily operations of the neuro interventional radiology department
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, including radiologists, technologists, and support staff
- Create and implement protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient patient care
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, technology advancements, and best practices in neuro interventional radiology
- Foster a positive and patient-centered work culture
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Act as a liaison between the department and hospital administration
- Participate in budget planning and financial management for the department
- Serve as a resource for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Represent the department in meetings and conferences, both internal and external to the organization
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Interventional Radiology, With A Focus On Neuro Procedures.
Current Certification As A Registered Nurse (Rn) Or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rt) With Specialty Certification In Neuro Interventional Radiology.
Proven Leadership Skills, With Experience In Leading A Team Of Interventional Radiology Technologists.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Interventional Radiology Procedures, As Well As Joint Commission Standards.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.
