Provide exceptional patient care: The Multi Skilled Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care unit.
Utilize diverse skill set: This position requires the ability to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Collaborate with healthcare team: The Multi Skilled Technician will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and support staff, to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Monitor and report patient status: It is the responsibility of the Multi Skilled Technician to regularly monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress to inform the healthcare team of any changes or concerns.
Assist with medical procedures: The Multi Skilled Technician may be called upon to assist physicians and nurses with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheter insertion, and administering medications.
Provide emotional support: Patients in the Progressive Care unit may be in a vulnerable state, and the Multi Skilled Technician must be able to provide emotional support, comfort, and reassurance to patients and their families.
Maintain a safe and clean environment: The Multi Skilled Technician will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment, including disinfecting equipment and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: The Multi Skilled Technician must follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols, to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The healthcare industry is constantly evolving, and the Multi Skilled Technician must stay up-to-date on the latest procedures, techniques, and technologies to provide the best care possible.

Job Qualifications

Education And Certification: A Multi Skilled Technician At Tenet Healthcare Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. Additional Certification Such As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Is Preferred.
Clinical Skills: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Basic Patient Care Techniques, And Familiarity With Various Medical Equipment And Instruments. Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Also A Plus.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Multi Skilled Technician Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals In A Compassionate And Professional Manner. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Setting.
Time Management And Organizational Skills: The Job Of A Multi Skilled Technician At Tenet Healthcare Requires Multitasking And Prioritizing Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively And Have Strong Organizational Skills.
Flexibility And Adaptability: As A Multi Skilled Technician, Candidates Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Be Flexible In Their Work Schedule.
