  1. Conduct MRI scans on patients using advanced equipment and technology.
  2. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff in the MRI department.
  3. Ensure accuracy and quality of MRI images, following established protocols and procedures.
  4. Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary support during MRI procedures.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns or questions.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and efficient patient care.
  7. Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in MRI technology and techniques.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  9. Document patient information accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  11. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and recommend necessary purchases.
  12. Train and supervise new MRI technologists, as needed.
  13. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of Tenet Healthcare in all aspects of the job.
  15. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Current Certification As An Mri Technologist From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Mri Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
