  1. Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health concerns.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' mental health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities and interventions, such as group therapy and recreational activities.
  5. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  7. Document patient progress, behaviors, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills related to mental health treatment.
  9. Follow all hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  10. Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to patients in distress.
  11. Advocate for patients and promote their rights, dignity, and self-determination.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  14. Serve as a role model for patients, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.
  15. Stay updated on current trends and developments in mental health treatment to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Mental Health Facility Or Related Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Multidisciplinary Teams.

  • Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Adhere To Ethical Standards In Handling Sensitive Patient Information.
