- Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations related to laboratory testing.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current in the field of molecular genetics.
Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Molecular Biology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) By A Recognized Agency, Such As Ascp Or Amt.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory, With At Least 1 Year In Molecular Genetics Testing.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Molecular Genetics Techniques, Including Pcr, Dna Sequencing, And Microarray Analysis.
Familiarity With Laboratory Information Systems And Proficiency In Data Analysis And Interpretation.
