Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to accurately record and categorize patient information.
Work in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and manage a high volume of medical records.

Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Medical Records Technician Position At Tenet Healthcare Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education To Understand Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Certified Professional Coder (Cpc) Certification: Tenet Healthcare Prefers Candidates Who Have A Cpc Certification From The American Academy Of Professional Coders (Aapc).
