  • Oversee the daily operations of the Psychiatry department, including managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
  • Monitor and maintain department budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and expenditures are within budget.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as Tenet Healthcare's guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients, ensuring that all care provided meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Lead and support a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of patient care.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Psychiatry department and other departments within the organization, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner, working to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of Psychiatry, implementing new practices and technologies as appropriate to enhance patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Psychiatric Setting

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Regulations And Accreditation Standards

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Strategies To Improve Patient Satisfaction, Quality Of Care, And Financial Performance.
