As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all laboratory procedures.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory and ensure all procedures are carried out efficiently and accurately.
  2. Supervise and guide laboratory staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Monitor laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure they are maintained and properly calibrated.
  4. Maintain and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  5. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision of laboratory results.
  6. Review and interpret laboratory results to detect any abnormalities or errors and take appropriate action.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient flow of samples and results.
  8. Train and mentor new laboratory staff, providing guidance on laboratory procedures and protocols.
  9. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and equipment.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in laboratory procedures and equipment.
  11. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all laboratory procedures.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to laboratory staff.
  13. Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
  14. Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory procedures and results.
  15. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, cooperation, and open communication among laboratory staff.
  16. Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards set by governing bodies.
  17. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall functioning of the laboratory.
  18. Stay up-to-date with all necessary certifications and licensure to perform laboratory supervisor duties.
  19. Handle and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the laboratory.
  20. Continuously strive to improve and optimize laboratory processes to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Medical Technology, Chemistry, Or Biology.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Role.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations, Including Quality Control, Safety Protocols, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Accrediting Organization.
