Oversee and manage daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all laboratory processes and equipment.
Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing by implementing quality control measures and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration and communication between laboratory and patient care.
Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and research, and implement new techniques and procedures as appropriate.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Serve as a point of contact for any laboratory-related inquiries or concerns from patients, healthcare professionals, or regulatory agencies.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, With At Least 1-2 Years In A Supervisory Role
Current Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) From A Recognized Accrediting Organization
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Quality Control Measures
Excellent Leadership, Communication, And Organizational Skills With The Ability To Manage A Team And Ensure Efficient Workflow In A Fast-Paced Environment.
