Perform a variety of laboratory duties including sample processing, data entry, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow standard operating procedures and protocols for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
Accurately label and track specimens, ensuring proper identification and documentation.
Prepare and maintain supplies and reagents needed for testing.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Adhere to quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with new laboratory techniques and procedures.
Assist in inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies.
Follow established protocols for the disposal of biohazardous materials.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Technology.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
Excellent Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.
Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Environment.
Demonstrated Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment And Effectively Communicate With Colleagues And Superiors.
