Bachelor's Degree In Histology Or Related Field: A Formal Education In Histology Or A Related Field Is Necessary To Understand The Principles And Techniques Used In This Role.
Certification As A Histotechnician (Ht) Or Histotechnologist (Htl): This Certification Demonstrates Knowledge And Competency In Histology Procedures And Techniques, And Is Often Required For Employment As A Histology Technician.
Experience In A Clinical Or Laboratory Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Or Laboratory Environment, Preferably In A Histology Department, Is Highly Desired For This Role.
