  1. Assist in performing endoscopic procedures under the supervision of physicians.
  2. Prepare and set up equipment and supplies needed for endoscopic procedures.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized endoscopy suite, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.
  4. Provide support and assistance to physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
  5. Monitor patient's vital signs and assist with patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
  6. Document and report any changes in patient condition or procedure complications to the healthcare team.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills related to endoscopy procedures and equipment.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patients' rights and privacy.
  12. Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies.
  13. May be required to assist with other duties as needed within the endoscopy department or other areas of the hospital.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Endoscopy Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification In Endoscopy Technology From An Accredited Institution Or Program.

  • Proficient In Endoscopic Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding And Hands-On Experience In Performing Various Endoscopic Procedures Such As Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, And Sigmoidoscopy.

  • Knowledge Of Equipment And Supplies: Endoscopy Technicians Should Be Familiar With The Use And Maintenance Of Endoscopic Equipment And Supplies, Such As Scopes, Cameras, And Sterilization Equipment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
