  1. Conduct endoscopic procedures with precision and attention to detail, following all safety and infection control protocols.
  2. Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and functioning correctly.
  3. Collaborate with the medical team to provide quality care to patients during endoscopic procedures, including assisting with patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-procedure care.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  5. Assist with patient education and preparation for endoscopic procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Demonstrate proficiency in using and troubleshooting endoscopic equipment, and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, regarding patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
  8. Continuously improve knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their endoscopic procedure experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Endoscopy Technician Training Program.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In An Endoscopy Department.

  • Certified Gastrointestinal Technician (Cgt) Or Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (Cfer) Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Endoscopy Equipment And Procedures, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
