Job Description

As a dedicated Echocardiography Technician at Tenet Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality cardiovascular imaging services to our patients. With your expertise and compassion, you will be responsible for conducting echocardiograms and producing accurate, detailed images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. Perform echocardiograms: Conduct high-quality echocardiograms on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
Produce accurate images: Ensure the production of accurate and detailed images for accurate diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
Maintain equipment: Properly operate and maintain echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect patients and staff during imaging procedures.
Analyze results: Analyze and interpret echocardiogram images to identify abnormalities or potential concerns and communicate findings to physicians.
Document findings: Accurately document and maintain records of echocardiogram results and patient information.
Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Educate patients: Educate patients on the echocardiogram procedure, answer any questions or concerns, and provide post-procedure care instructions.
Stay updated on industry advancements: Continuously stay updated on new technology, techniques, and industry advancements in echocardiography to enhance skills and knowledge.
Provide compassionate care: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism towards patients and their families throughout the imaging process.

Job Qualifications

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Through The American Registry Of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Ardms).
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.
