Perform high quality echocardiograms and other diagnostic cardiac procedures on patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
Analyze and interpret echocardiogram results and provide accurate and timely reports to physicians.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient care.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on new technology, techniques, and advancements in echocardiography.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.

Job Qualifications

Associates Or Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Echo Technician.
Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs).
Proficient In Operating Echocardiography Equipment And Analyzing Results.
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Various Cardiac Pathologies And Treatment Options.
