As an Echo Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.   1. Perform diagnostic echocardiogram procedures on patients using advanced ultrasound equipment.
  2. Prepare and position patients for procedures in a safe and comfortable manner.
  3. Obtain patient history and explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
  4. Work closely with physicians to assist in the interpretation and reporting of results.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and quality of all images and reports, making note of any abnormalities or discrepancies.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to management.
  8. Keep accurate records and documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.
  10. Stay up-to-date on new technology and techniques in echocardiography, and implement them as appropriate.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients and their families.
  13. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  15. Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Echo Technician In A Hospital Setting.

  • Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Echocardiography Procedures, Including 2D, M-Mode, And Doppler Imaging.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology, As Well As Familiarity With Various Cardiac Diseases And Treatments.
