Dietary Aide

1. Greet and welcome patients, families and visitors to the dining area in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to patients, following dietary restrictions and portion control guidelines.
3. Monitor patient food intake and report any concerns or changes to the healthcare team.
4. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs and other surfaces as needed.
5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients' dietary needs are met and any special requests or accommodations are addressed.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
7. Keep inventory of dietary supplies and inform supervisor when items need to be restocked.
8. Communicate any patient feedback or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
9. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on dietary procedures and policies.
10. Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families at all times.
11. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working cooperatively with other team members to provide exceptional patient care.
13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the dining experience for patients and their families.
14. Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
