
Clinical Educator - Perinatal Services

- Develop and implement educational programs for staff in the perinatal services department.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in perinatal care.
- Work with the team to identify areas for improvement and develop training programs to address these areas.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for perinatal patients.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff to improve their knowledge and skills in perinatal care.
- Create and maintain educational materials, such as manuals and presentations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in implementing new processes and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, answering questions and providing guidance on perinatal care.
- Participate in the development of policies and protocols related to perinatal care.
- Stay informed on changes in regulations and guidelines related to perinatal care and ensure staff are updated accordingly.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between the perinatal services department and other departments within the organization.
- Collaborate with external organizations and experts to bring in new ideas and perspectives on perinatal care.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the quality of perinatal care within the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Perinatal Nursing
Current And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Employment
Previous Experience In Clinical Education, Training, Or Preceptorship
Knowledge Of Current Perinatal Guidelines And Best Practices, Such As Awhonn And Nrp
