Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Healthcare And Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Clinical Documentation Specialist, And A Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or A Related Field Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills.
Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (Ccds) Credential: Tenet Healthcare May Require Applicants For This Role To Hold A Ccds Credential, Which Demonstrates Proficiency In Clinical Documentation Improvement And Knowledge Of Coding Guidelines.
