  1. Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Identify and resolve discrepancies in clinical documentation.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify and improve documentation.
  4. Educate and train healthcare team members on proper documentation practices.
  5. Monitor and track documentation compliance and provide feedback to healthcare team.
  6. Utilize coding guidelines and regulatory requirements to validate documentation.
  7. Provide guidance and support to improve overall clinical documentation integrity.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance documentation practices.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in documentation regulations.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
  11. Communicate effectively with all levels of the healthcare team.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to promote accurate documentation.
  13. Collaborate with coding and billing teams to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  14. Perform audits and provide feedback to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  15. Continuously strive for accuracy and excellence in all aspects of clinical documentation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Healthcare Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Documentation Improvement (Cdi) Or Medical Coding.

  • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (Ccds) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Credential Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Icd-10 Coding Guidelines And Documentation Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication, Critical Thinking, And Problem-Solving Skills.
