Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field: A Clinical Dietitian At Tenet Healthcare Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Be Registered With The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr) And Hold A Current Rd Certification. This Ensures That They Have Met The Necessary Education And Experience Requirements To Practice As A Dietitian.
State Licensure: In Addition To Being An Rd, Tenet Healthcare May Also Require Clinical Dietitians To Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Dietitian. This Ensures That They Are Compliant With State Regulations And Standards Of Practice.
Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Clinical Dietitian In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Providing Medical Nutrition Therapy, Conducting Nutrition Assessments, And Developing Personalized Nutrition Plans For Patients.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team, Clinical Dietitians At Tenet Healthcare Need To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Caregivers, And Healthcare Professionals, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members.
