- Provide high-quality, safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
- Administer appropriate anesthesia medications and manage their effects.
- Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement an individualized anesthetic plan for each patient.
- Monitor and maintain patient vital signs during surgery and provide immediate intervention if needed.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist with the positioning and preparation of patients for surgery.
- Maintain and operate anesthesia equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and post-operative care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in anesthesiology.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during the preoperative and postoperative process.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.

Graduate Degree In Anesthesiologist Assistant Program: A Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (Caa) At Tenet Healthcare Must Have A Graduate Degree In An Anesthesiologist Assistant Program Accredited By The Commission On Accreditation Of Allied Health Education Programs (Caahep).
Certification By The National Commission For Certification Of Anesthesiologist Assistants (Nccaa): The Candidate Must Be A Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant By The Nccaa, Which Requires Passing A National Board Examination.
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current State License To Practice As An Anesthesiologist Assistant In The State Where The Position Is Located.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: Tenet Healthcare Requires At Least 2 Years Of Clinical Experience As An Anesthesiologist Assistant, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Healthcare Team, A Caa At Tenet Healthcare Must Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
