Provide exceptional care to patients in the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit (CVRU) in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Monitor and assess patients' conditions post cardiovascular procedures and administer appropriate treatments and medications as needed
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
Monitor and maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff
Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions as necessary
Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced staff members
Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in cardiovascular care and incorporate them into practice
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Cvru Registered Nurse At Tenet Healthcare Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Cvru Is Located.
Acls And Bls Certification: Tenet Healthcare Requires All Cvru Registered Nurses To Have Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cvru Setting: Tenet Healthcare Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiovascular Recovery Unit.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: A Cvru Registered Nurse Should Have Excellent Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Complex And High-Risk Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.
