Conducting cardiac ultrasounds on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
Accurately capturing and recording images of the heart and surrounding structures.
Identifying and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues to the physician.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
Maintaining and calibrating equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Educating patients on the procedure and answering any questions or concerns.
Following all safety protocols and maintaining a sterile environment.
Keeping accurate and organized records of procedures and patient information.
Participating in continuing education and staying up-to-date on advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology.
Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Prioritizing and managing a high volume of patients and procedures.
Maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
Upholding the values and standards of Tenet Healthcare in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field
Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Ardms)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Ultrasound Imaging
Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology
Ability To Perform And Interpret Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, And Other Cardiovascular Procedures Accurately And Efficiently.
