- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various radiology equipment and techniques.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Review patient medical history and communicate with healthcare team to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure proper functioning and availability.
- Educate and communicate with patients about procedures, risks, and aftercare instructions.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in radiology technology and procedures.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and quality improvement.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced radiology technicians.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment by maintaining a respectful and collaborative attitude.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field
Certified Radiologic Technologist (Crt) Or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rrt) Credential
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Advanced Radiology Procedures, Such As Mri, Ct, Or Interventional Radiology
Knowledge Of Advanced Imaging Equipment And Technology, Including Pacs And 3D Reconstruction Software
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.
