  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: The Advanced Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Ensure patient safety: It is the responsibility of the Advanced Radiology Technician to prioritize patient safety by following proper protocols, using protective equipment, and monitoring patients during procedures.
  3. Maintain equipment: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all radiology equipment is functioning properly and safely. This includes performing regular maintenance checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and reporting any malfunctions.
  4. Prepare patients for procedures: The Advanced Radiology Technician will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering any questions, and providing instructions for proper positioning.
  5. Monitor and evaluate images: The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing images to ensure they meet quality standards and are accurately capturing the necessary information for diagnosis.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Advanced Radiology Technician will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment for patients.
  7. Maintain patient records: It is the responsibility of the candidate to accurately document patient information and procedure details in electronic medical records.
  8. Uphold safety and privacy regulations: The candidate must adhere to all safety and privacy regulations, including HIPAA, to protect patient confidentiality and maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
  9. Continuously develop skills and knowledge: The Advanced Radiology Technician should stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and procedures and seek out opportunities for professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care: The candidate should have a strong passion for patient care and demonstrate this through their interactions with patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification As A Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rrt) By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiology Technician In A Hospital Or Medical Center Setting.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating Specialized Radiology Equipment, Such As Mri, Ct, Or Pet Scanners.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Interact With Patients.
