  1. Conduct research on current and emerging gaming trends and technologies.
  2. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and pitch new game ideas.
  3. Assist with the development and testing of new game features and mechanics.
  4. Analyze user feedback and gameplay data to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Participate in team meetings and provide valuable insights and suggestions.
  6. Conduct market research to identify potential target audiences for new games.
  7. Help with the planning and execution of game marketing campaigns.
  8. Assist with the creation of game design documents and other project-related documentation.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality game releases.
  10. Continuously learn and improve skills in game development and project management.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality agreements.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a professional manner.
  13. Complete assigned tasks and projects within given timelines.
  14. Attend training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of Game Development Process: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Game Development Process From Concept To Launch. This Includes Knowledge Of Game Design, Programming, Art, And Testing.

  • Familiarity With Popular Game Engines: Tencent Holdings Uses Various Game Engines Such As Unreal Engine And Unity. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With These Engines And Be Able To Quickly Adapt To New Tools And Technologies.

  • Passion For Gaming: Tencent Holdings Is A Leading Game Developer And Publisher, And It Is Important For The Intern To Have A Deep Passion For Gaming. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Current Gaming Trends And A Willingness To Learn New Game Genres.

  • Strong Analytical And Research Skills: As A Game Research And Development Intern, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Player Data And Conducting Research To Improve Game Design. Strong Analytical And Research Skills Are Essential For This Role.
