This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth transition for transfer students into our university.   1. Coordinate the transfer admissions process for incoming students, ensuring all necessary documents and requirements are met in a timely manner.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for transfer students and their families, providing information and assistance throughout the admissions process.
  3. Conduct thorough evaluations of transfer credits and determine their applicability towards degree requirements.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the university to ensure a seamless transfer experience for students.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with community colleges and other institutions to facilitate the transfer process.
  6. Plan and execute events and informational sessions for transfer students to promote the university and its programs.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current admissions policies and procedures, as well as transfer credit guidelines, to provide accurate information to students.
  8. Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract and retain transfer students.
  9. Maintain organized records and databases of transfer applicants and their admission status.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and other university staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient transfer process.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to students and their families, addressing any concerns or questions in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Continuously assess and improve the transfer admissions process to enhance the experience for students.
  13. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations, related to admissions and transfer credit evaluation.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Higher Education, Counseling, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Admissions, Academic Advising, Or Transfer Coordination At A College Or University.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Admissions Policies And Procedures, Specifically Related To Transfer Students.

  • Proficiency In Data Management And Analysis, With Experience Using Admissions Software And Databases.
