- Provide technical support to users in the labs, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network connectivity, and printing problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware in the labs, ensuring that all equipment is up to date and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions to improve the user experience in the labs.
- Train and assist lab users in utilizing technology and software, ensuring that they have a positive and productive experience.
- Monitor and maintain lab equipment, ensuring that all devices are in working order and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Document and track all reported issues and resolutions, maintaining accurate records of lab usage and equipment maintenance.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and make recommendations for updates and improvements to the lab environment.
- Assist with the planning and execution of lab upgrades and installations, ensuring minimal disruption to lab users.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to support and troubleshoot technology needs for classes and projects in the labs.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude while assisting lab users with their technical needs.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Technical Support, Preferably In A Higher Education Environment.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Computer Hardware, Software, And Networking Systems.
Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills.
Ability To Communicate Technical Information Clearly And Effectively To Non-Technical Users.
