  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the athletic programs at Temple University.
  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, including alumni, corporate sponsors, and community members.
  3. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through research and outreach efforts.
  4. Collaborate with other departments within the university to align fundraising efforts and maximize resources.
  5. Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and work towards securing major gifts for the athletic programs.
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of development professionals, including setting goals and managing performance.
  7. Develop and oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring they align with the overall fundraising strategy.
  8. Create and maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions, utilizing a donor database system.
  9. Stay informed about the current trends and best practices in development for collegiate athletics.
  10. Represent the university and athletic department at events and meetings, building relationships and promoting fundraising efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Sports Management, Business Administration, Or Marketing.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Athletic Development Or Fundraising, Preferably In A Collegiate Or Professional Sports Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Major Gift Fundraising And Donor Stewardship.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Alumni, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Priorities And Meet Fundraising Goals.
