We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse in the Thoracic Medicine and Surgery department at Temple University.   1. Conduct and coordinate clinical trials: The primary responsibility of the RN Clinical Research Nurse is to conduct and coordinate clinical trials within the Thoracic Medicine and Surgery department at Temple University. This includes managing the entire research process, including recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up of study participants.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and researchers: The RN Clinical Research Nurse will work closely with a team of physicians and researchers to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials. This includes communicating with them regularly to provide updates on study progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
  3. Ensure compliance with protocols and regulations: The RN Clinical Research Nurse will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical trials are conducted in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Pennsylvania.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience, Preferably In Thoracic Medicine And Surgery.

  • Certification In Clinical Research, Such As Certified Clinical Research Professional (Ccrp) Or Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (Ccrc).

  • Strong Understanding Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines And Regulations, As Well As Knowledge Of The Research Process And Protocol Development.
