- Greet and welcome students, faculty, and staff to the Mental Health Office with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member or resource.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for mental health professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, including contact details, appointments, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate and manage the intake process for new clients, including collecting necessary forms and information.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of mental health events and workshops on campus.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to promote mental wellness and awareness.
- Support the mental health professionals in their administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
- Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of all client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Keep the office and waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Act as a liaison between students and mental health professionals, relaying important information and messages.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with students who may be in distress or in need of immediate support.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline office processes and procedures.
- Attend relevant trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to mental health support and office administration.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all staff and students.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting Or Related Administrative Role.
Knowledge Of Mental Health Diagnoses And Treatment Modalities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Population.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities.
