We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health Office Coordinator to join our team and support our mission of promoting mental wellness on campus.In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our Mental Health Office, overseeing administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth functioning of our services. As the first point of contact for students seeking mental health support, you will have a direct impact on the well-being of our community.To excel in this role, we are looking for a compassionate and organized individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A background in mental health or counseling is preferred, along with experience in office administration.   • Greet and welcome students, faculty, and staff to the Mental Health Office with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member or resource.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for mental health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, including contact details, appointments, and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the intake process for new clients, including collecting necessary forms and information.
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of mental health events and workshops on campus.
  • Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to promote mental wellness and awareness.
  • Support the mental health professionals in their administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of all client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Keep the office and waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Act as a liaison between students and mental health professionals, relaying important information and messages.
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with students who may be in distress or in need of immediate support.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline office processes and procedures.
  • Attend relevant trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to mental health support and office administration.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all staff and students.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting Or Related Administrative Role.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Diagnoses And Treatment Modalities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Population.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Responsibilities.
