Job Description

Responsible for independently managing the day-to-day activities of research projects performed within the laboratory. The incumbent will be providing complex technical assistance to principal investigators in support of various research activities; providing training and feedback; ensuring all projects are completed in a timely fashion; establishing laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with research protocols and ensuring staff adheres to all policies, procedures, and professional standards within the laboratory. The Senior Laboratory Manager will be working on complex research projects; selecting an appropriate course of action that requires demonstrated ability to make independent judgments and typically involves change or innovation in existing procedures or techniques.

Job Qualifications
  • At least four years of directly related experience.

  • Demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge of surgery in small animals

  • Demonstrated knowledge of in vitro and in vivo animal models of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be detail oriented in a high volume priority driven environment.
