Welcome to the Health Services team at Temple University! We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Health Services Technician to join our dedicated staff. As a Health Services Technician, you will be an integral part of providing high-quality and comprehensive healthcare services to our diverse student population. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about promoting health and wellness, and possesses strong clinical skills.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality healthcare services to students at Temple University.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the Health Services team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of the services offered by the Health Services department.
  4. Utilize strong clinical skills to accurately assess and treat students' health concerns.
  5. Promote a culture of health and wellness on campus by planning and implementing health education programs and events.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each student.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty to address any health-related concerns or questions.
  8. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss student care and treatment plans.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of student information.
  10. Keep up-to-date with current healthcare practices and procedures to provide the best possible care to students.
  11. Serve as a resource for students seeking information or assistance with health-related issues.
  12. Take initiative in identifying and addressing any potential health concerns or hazards on campus.
  13. Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for students seeking healthcare services.
  14. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical supplies.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Completion Of An Accredited Health Services Technician Training Program.

  • Certification Or Licensure In Relevant Areas Such As Cpr, First Aid, And Medical Terminology.

  • Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Similar Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Medical Professionals, And Other Staff Members.
