Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with faculty and staff to facilitate the submission and management of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.   1. Facilitate the submission of grant and contract proposals by working closely with faculty and staff to ensure all required documents and information are included.
  2. Review proposals for compliance with federal regulations and university policies.
  3. Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff throughout the grant and contract management process.
  4. Monitor and track the progress of grant and contract submissions, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of federal regulations and university policies related to grants and contracts.
  6. Communicate updates and changes in regulations and policies to faculty and staff.
  7. Assist in budget development and preparation of grant and contract proposals.
  8. Collaborate with various university departments, such as Finance and Compliance, to ensure all requirements are met for successful grant and contract management.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to grants and contracts.
  10. Assist in the negotiation and execution of grant and contract agreements.
  11. Monitor grant and contract expenses and provide regular reports to faculty and staff.
  12. Identify potential risks and compliance issues and take appropriate action to address them.
  13. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to grants and contracts administration.
  14. Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to grants and contracts management.
  15. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in grants and contracts administration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Grants And Contracts Administration, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations, Policies, And Procedures Related To Grants And Contracts.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Guidelines And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Faculty, Staff, And External Partners.
