Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and results-driven Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team at Temple University. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans to elevate the university's brand and enhance its reputation.   1. Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans to promote and elevate the brand and reputation of Temple University.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and branding across all channels.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and industry best practices to inform marketing and communication strategies.
  4. Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media.
  5. Manage and allocate budget resources effectively to achieve marketing and communication goals.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of marketing and communication professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key partners to increase brand visibility and awareness.
  8. Serve as a spokesperson for the university and handle media inquiries and crisis communications.
  9. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  10. Collaborate with enrollment management and admissions teams to develop and implement recruitment strategies for prospective students.
  11. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Temple University's mission, values, and key initiatives to effectively communicate them to various audiences.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and marketing trends to continuously improve marketing and communication efforts.
  13. Represent the university at conferences, events, and other networking opportunities to promote the brand and build relationships.
  14. Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the overall goals of the university.
  15. Uphold and promote ethical and professional standards in all aspects of marketing and communication activities.

Job Qualifications
