- Develop and implement strategic plans for global programs, in alignment with the university's mission and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for international education and global initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the team and with other departments and stakeholders.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with international organizations, universities, and institutions to enhance global opportunities for students and faculty.
- Oversee the development and management of international exchange programs, study abroad programs, and other global initiatives.
- Coordinate with various departments and offices within the university to ensure seamless integration of global programs into the overall curriculum and student experience.
- Develop and manage budgets for global programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to international education, and make recommendations for program enhancements.
- Provide guidance and support to students participating in global programs, including pre-departure orientation, on-site support, and re-entry programming.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote global programs and attract a diverse pool of applicants.
- Represent the university at national and international conferences, events, and meetings related to global programs.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of global programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and relevant government agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data related to global programs and student participation.
- Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within global programs and ensure the recruitment and support of underrepresented students.
Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As International Relations, Education, Or Business Administration.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Global Context.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing International Programs, Including Budget Management And Grant Writing.
Strong Cross-Cultural Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Current Trends And Issues In International Education And Experience Working With International Students And/Or Study Abroad Programs.
