- Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all areas of the university.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure the safety and security of the campus community.
- Collaborate with university departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of preparedness and resilience.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management, sustainability, and resilience, providing guidance and support to university leadership and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to risk management, sustainability, and resilience and apply them to enhance the university's programs and initiatives.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure the successful implementation of risk, resilience, and sustainability strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to support risk management and sustainability efforts.
- Monitor and report on the university's progress towards sustainability goals and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with university leaders to develop policies and procedures that align with risk management and sustainability objectives.
- Conduct training and educational programs to increase awareness and understanding of risk management, resilience, and sustainability among the campus community.
- Prepare and present reports to university leadership on risk, resilience, and sustainability initiatives and progress.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and relevant regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to risk management and sustainability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and protocols to ensure the safety of the campus community in the event of a crisis.
- Promote and advocate for sustainability efforts across the university, including initiatives related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship.
- Continuously evaluate and improve risk, resilience, and sustainability programs based on feedback and data analysis.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Risk Management, Sustainability, Or Environmental Science.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks And Develop Sustainable Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Lead Cross-Functional Teams.
Knowledge Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards Related To Risk Management, Sustainability, And Resilience.
