- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent to Temple University.
- Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to promote Temple University and its programs.
- Review and evaluate applications and make admissions decisions in accordance with university policies and standards.
- Conduct informational sessions and presentations to prospective students and their families.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and provide accurate and timely information about admissions requirements, procedures, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments and university stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment events, both on and off campus, to reach a diverse pool of applicants.
- Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment efforts and make informed decisions to improve the admissions process.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in admissions to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
- Represent Temple University at college fairs, conferences, and other events to promote the university and its programs.
- Train and supervise admissions staff and student workers to ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Assist with developing and managing the admissions budget.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all prospective students and families.
- Collaborate with academic departments to support recruitment efforts for specific programs.
- Contribute to the overall success of the admissions department by taking on additional duties and projects as needed.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Communications, Or Marketing.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Admissions Or Related Field, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The University To Prospective Students And Families.
Knowledge Of Admissions Processes And Procedures, As Well As A Commitment To Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion In The Recruitment And Enrollment Of Students.
