- Oversee the university's admissions process, including reviewing and evaluating applications, making admissions decisions, and communicating with prospective students and their families.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders within the university to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process.
- Represent the university at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to promote Temple University and its programs.
- Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the admissions process and enhance the university's recruitment efforts.
- Manage a team of admissions counselors and support staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and analyze admissions trends and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment and enrollment.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for admissions.
- Serve as a liaison between the admissions office and other departments, such as financial aid, academic advising, and housing, to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other external partners to promote Temple University and its admissions process.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the university's academic programs, policies, and procedures to accurately represent them to prospective students.
- Participate in university events and committees to promote and advance the university's mission and goals.
- Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism while representing the university and interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Marketing, Communications, Or Education.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Admissions Or Enrollment Management, Preferably At A University Setting.
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Students, Faculty, And Staff.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously And Meet Deadlines.
Familiarity With Admissions Software And Crm Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Data Analysis And Reporting.
