
Assistant Athletic Trainer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. As an Assistant Athletic Trainer, you will work closely with our Head Athletic Trainer to ensure the health and well-being of our student-athletes. - Provide support to the Head Athletic Trainer in all aspects of athletic training, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes.
- Collaborate with coaches and other athletic staff to develop and implement injury prevention and treatment plans for student-athletes.
- Assist in maintaining accurate medical records for all student-athletes, including injury reports, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Monitor the health and well-being of student-athletes during practices, games, and other athletic events.
- Administer first aid and emergency care when necessary, following appropriate protocols and procedures.
- Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and other aspects of sports medicine to promote overall wellness.
- Assist with the maintenance and inventory of athletic training equipment and supplies.
- Stay current with the latest developments in sports medicine and attend professional development opportunities as needed.
- Communicate with parents, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and treatment of student-athletes.
- Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and university guidelines and regulations related to athletic training and student-athlete health and safety.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the Temple University Athletics program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer or Athletic Director.
Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field.
Current Certification From The National Athletic Trainers' Association (Nata).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer In A Collegiate Or Professional Sports Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Sports Medicine, Injury Prevention, And Rehabilitation Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Athletes, Coaches, And Medical Professionals.
