  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the research activities and needs within the university departments.
  2. Provide support to faculty and staff in the preparation and submission of research proposals.
  3. Manage and maintain research databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  4. Coordinate and oversee the recruitment and hiring of research personnel, such as graduate assistants and research assistants.
  5. Process and track research funding, including budget management and expense tracking.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of research policies and procedures.
  7. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and research teams.
  8. Monitor and report on research progress and outcomes to university leadership.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in research methodologies.
  10. Act as a liaison between the university and external research partners.
  11. Ensure compliance with ethical codes and regulations in all research activities.
  12. Conduct and assist with research projects as needed.
  13. Train and guide new research personnel on university policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  15. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the university's research initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Library Science, Information Science, Or Higher Education Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In An Academic Research Setting, Preferably In A University Or College Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Research Methodologies, Data Analysis, And Research Project Management.

  • Proficiency In Database Management, Information Literacy Instruction, And Research Tools Such As Spss, Nvivo, And Endnote.

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively And Independently In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Research Environment.
